Terms of Service

Greatway is operated by Greatco LLC ("Greatway," "we," "us," or "our"). These terms describe the conditions for using the Greatway website and its account features. Please read them before using the service. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

1. What Greatway provides

Greatway provides information about estate planning, estate settlement, selling belongings, moving, and related services. We are developing a directory to help people find independent service professionals.

The website is an early version. Resources marked as drafts have not completed professional review. Business owners can claim and manage their listings and subscribe to Greatway Plus. Business submissions, reviews and provider inquiries are not currently open. Creating an account does not publish a business listing or guarantee access to future features.

Browsing, account creation and claiming a listing are free. Greatway Plus is an optional paid plan for businesses, described in section 5. We will not enroll you in a paid plan without your agreement at checkout.

2. Information, not professional advice

Greatway is not a law firm, financial advisor, tax advisor, healthcare provider, fiduciary, or estate sale company. Our content is general information and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who understands your circumstances. Laws and requirements vary by location and may change.

Using this website, reading a guide, or creating an account does not create an attorney-client, fiduciary, advisory, or other professional relationship with Greatway or any listed professional. Do not rely on draft resources to make legal, financial, medical, or estate decisions, and do not use Greatway for emergencies or time-sensitive legal notices.

3. Independent professionals

Professionals and third-party websites operate independently of Greatway. Any services you arrange with them are governed by your agreement with that professional. You are responsible for checking licenses, qualifications, insurance, references, fees, and contract terms relevant to the work you need.

A listing, search position, link, rating, or label is not a guarantee of competence, licensing, suitability, availability, or a particular result. Greatway does not supervise a professional’s work or become a party to your agreement with them simply by displaying information or a link. We do not guarantee that directory information will be complete, current, or error-free.

4. Accounts

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into an agreement to create an account. Provide accurate information, keep your login credentials private, and notify us at info@greatwayguide.com if you suspect unauthorized account use.

If you use Greatway on behalf of a business, you must have authority to act for it. Do not impersonate another person or business, misrepresent your qualifications, or claim authority over an estate or property that you do not have.

You may stop using Greatway at any time. To request account closure and deletion of personal information, contact us using the process in the Privacy Policy.

5. Listing claims and Greatway Plus

Claiming a listing. You may claim a listing only for a business you own or are authorized to manage. We may approve a claim automatically when your confirmed account email uses the business website's domain. Otherwise we review the document you provide, with help from an AI model, and a person decides. We may refuse, reverse or remove a claim, or ask for more information, if we cannot verify it or later learn it was not authorized. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish on your listing and must have the rights to any logos and photos you upload. We may edit or remove listing content that is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful or inappropriate.

Greatway Plus. Greatway Plus costs $29 per month plus any applicable sales tax, billed in advance through Stripe to the payment method you provide. It adds your website link, logo, photos, year founded and fee approach to your listing. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. We will tell you before we change the price, and a new price applies only from your next billing period after the notice.

Cancellation and refunds. You can cancel any time from your dashboard. Plus remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then your listing returns to the free version. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial months, except where required by law. If a payment fails, we may pause Plus features until payment is made. Plus does not change how listings are ranked or what Greatway says about a business.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Greatway to:

  • Break the law, commit fraud, impersonate someone, or mislead others.
  • Harass people or infringe their privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.
  • Attempt unauthorized access, bypass access restrictions, introduce malicious code, or disrupt the website.
  • Harvest personal information, send unsolicited messages, or use automated requests in a way that unreasonably burdens the service.
  • Submit information you do not have the right to provide.

The current site is not a secure document repository for estate administration. Do not upload or send wills, account numbers, Social Security numbers, medical records, passwords, or other sensitive documents through search fields or ordinary correspondence.

7. Website content and ownership

Greatway’s branding, website design, and original content belong to Greatco LLC or its licensors, except for third-party materials and rights identified separately. You may access the site and use its resources for your own lawful personal or internal business purposes. Do not resell our content, remove ownership notices, or use our branding to imply an endorsement without permission. Nothing in these terms limits uses allowed by applicable law.

You keep ownership of information you provide. We may process it as needed to operate the service and respond to your requests, as described in the Privacy Policy. These terms do not grant us a blanket license to publish your private correspondence. Separate submission terms may apply if public listings or reviews become available.

8. Availability and account restrictions

We may change, add, or discontinue features, and the site may be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, or events outside our control. We do not promise uninterrupted access or continued availability of a feature that is still being developed.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a violation of these terms, protect the service or other people, or comply with law. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice and a way to contact us about the restriction. Suspension does not remove privacy rights you may have under applicable law.

9. Disclaimers and limits of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Greatway is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant the services, statements, or conduct of independent professionals or other third parties.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Greatco LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of Greatway, including resulting loss of profits, business opportunities, or data.

These limitations do not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and they do not take away mandatory consumer rights. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular exclusions or limitations, so those provisions apply only to the extent allowed where applicable.

10. Questions and disputes

If you have a concern about Greatway, contact info@greatwayguide.com so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us does not prevent you from exercising legal rights or bringing a claim in a court with jurisdiction. These terms do not require arbitration or waive the right to bring a class action.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms when the website or our practices change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice or seek agreement where required by law. Changes will not retroactively remove rights concerning a dispute that has already arisen. If you do not accept revised terms, you may stop using the service and request account closure.

If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. These terms, together with any additional terms you expressly accept for a particular feature, describe the agreement about your use of Greatway.
